1. What is alkaline ionized water?
Our machines produce two streams of water, both having uses and benefits. The main stream of drinking water has high pH, meaning it is alkaline, as opposed to low pH which is acidic (used for cleaning, disinfecting, beautifying, and watering plants). Soft drinks, energy drinks, alcoholic beverages, and even bottled water are low in pH or acidic. A precondition for most diseases is an acidic environment. By eating the right foods and drinking alkaline water, the body’s pH can balanced to bring healing, energy, and beautification.
ORP stands for oxidative reduction potential, a measure of antioxidant levels. Water ionizing machines use a process of electrolysis which splits ordinary tap water into alkaline and acidic streams. Ionizing means creating negatively charged mineral ions that turn the water alkaline (creating positively charged ions creates the acidic stream). It is these antioxidants and ionized minerals found in this alkaline water that are such powerful aids in healing, raising energy levels, and slowing aging. Negatively charged ions attract the positively charged ions of harmful acids, free radicals, and toxins, which is why the effects of this water can be felt so quickly and dramatically.

2. The health benefits of drinking alkaline ionized water
As a result of metabolism, the body is constantly creating acidic wastes. However, stress and the poor quality of our modern diets has lead to extreme levels of acidity, thereby overburdening the body’s ability to eliminate these acids through the urine and sweat. 3. The problems with bottled water and tap water
Through marketing, bottled water companies market their filtered tap water as clean and safe “mountain spring water”. Independent tests have revealed a wide range of scandals widely reported in the press. Furthermore, filtered water, while filtering out contaminants and toxins, also strip the water of its natural minerals, causing the water to absorb CO2 from the air and creating carbonic acid, rendering most filtered water and bottled water acidic, potentially harming your health.
There is also an environmental cost, as the amount of plastic trash is rising, in addition to the growing concern of the bottled water industry’s strain on our fresh water systems.
4. Uses for acidic ionized water
Not only is drinking alkaline water beneficial for healing, rejuvenating, and energizing, but there are other uses for the (acidic) water produced by our machines as well.
The acidic water can be used to clean pores, as an astringent to keep them tight, and as a hair softener and detangler.
The acidic water is also an effective disinfectant for cuts, or for cleaning the kitchen, cutting boards, and even medical equipment in doctors’/dentists’ offices.

5. How alkaline water ionizers work
Water ionizers use an electrical charge to split water into alkaline (pH above 7.0) and acidic (pH below 7.0) streams.
